104% Increase in Foreign Tourist Arrivals to Kish Island
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Mohammad Kabiri, announced a 104% increase in foreign tourist arrivals to Kish over the past month compared to the same period last year.
Kish Island Ranks Among Top 5 Tourist Destinations in Iran
Kish Island is among the top five cities in Iran with significant tourism potential, according to Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, who spoke to journalists on the island. He stated, "In terms of accommodation and hotels, Kish is now one of the top five cities and possesses vast tourism capacity."

Mohammad Kabiri, the new CEO of Kish, stated during the ceremony honoring and introducing the new CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization: “We must not forget that Kish’s competitors are not within Iran. In my view, with comprehensive planning and a structured approach, we need to move toward creating a seventh-generation free zone.”
Minister of Economy Vows to Restore Kish to Its Former Glory
The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance said: “The new CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization is a young, capable, motivated, and cultured manager. Within the next three months, a three-year strategic development plan for this free zone must be submitted to the secretariat, and a roadmap for development in the region must be drawn up.”
