Kish Island Photographer Wins Gold at Turkey’s Arbella Competition

Kish Island, May 8, 2022- Kish Free Zone Organization’s photographer, Hossein Tahavori, has won a gold medal at the 12th edition of the Arbella International Photography Competition in Turkey.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Seyed Hossein Tahavori, Kish Free Zone Organization artist-photographer, has achieved another international success.

The annual photography contest, held under the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the Photographic Arts Federation of Turkey, and the World Photography Organization, announced the top photographers of this year’s competition.

The 12th Arbella International Photography Contest was held from January 1, 2022, to April 17, 2022.

The themes of three sections of the international contest were declared free, global warming impacts, and creativity with pasta.

Some 1,413 photographers from around the globe competed in the contest with 7,982 photos.

Hossein Tahavori, the Iranian photographer from Kish Island, has contested at the freestyle section of the competition.

Tahavori gained a gold medal from the International Federation of Photographic Art and a reward of 600 dollars in the Arbella Contest. He contested 1,350 rivals, and his photo was selected among 5,141 pictures in the free style section.

It is worth mentioning that Seyed Hossein Tahavori, Kish Free Zone Organization and Tasnim News Agency photographer, a photography trainer, and a judge at various domestic festivals, has already made his way to several domestic and international festivals and has shone brightly in various photography events.
