Trade Consultants from 16 Countries Meet Representatives from Kish Commercial Guilds

Kish Island, January 3, 2015-Trade consultants from 16 countries have held talks with representatives from Kish commercial guilds, businessmen and hotel owners to explore avenues for the expansion of business with the Persian Gulf Island.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, investment and business opportunities on Kish Island as well as marketing the products manufactured on Kish Island in target markets were among the issues discussed in the meeting.

Also, representatives from industrial guilds, association of hotel owners, and businessmen briefed the delegations from the foreign countries on their capabilities to set up trade and economic ties with other countries.

Meanwhile, the representative of Kish businessmen briefed the participants on the business potentials on Kish and called on the foreign trade consultants to lead their credible brands in their countries to invest in Kish Island.

Also, the representative of Kish hotel owners association expressed the group’s readiness to pave the way for the presence of international hoteling groups for investment, construction and equipment of hotels on Kish.

Attracting health tourists into Kish Island was among the most significant issues discussed in the meeting. Also, Kish Free Zone Organization and Organization of Trade Promotion agreed to sign two agreements on the expansion of cooperation and using the capabilities and capacities of foreign trade consultants.
