Thai Ambassador Visits Kish Island

Kish Island, June 28, 2018- On his trip to Kish Island, Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, described the southern island as one of the most beautiful islands in the world and a haven for tourists.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Tehran visited Kish Island along with a delegation from Thai embassy (June 25-26, 2018).

The Thai ambassador described Kish Island as one of the calmest and most beautiful islands in the world and said: "The good and sincere treatment of the people and officials of this region, the peace, security, and beauty of the beaches of the Persian Gulf Island are the advantages that can attract many tourists and foreign travelers.

He also referred to investment advantages in Kish Island including visa-free entrance as well as tax exemption, describing the Persian Gulf Island as a safe haven for foreign investors. He described Kish as a haven for tourists and said his country is interested in expanding cooperation with Kish and paving the way for the active presence of Thai tourists and investors in the Persian Gulf Island.

The Ambassador and the accompanying delegation met with KFZO's Economic, Development, and Tourism Deputy Directors and also visited several economic, industrial and tourism projects to get acquainted with tourism and economic capacities of the island.
