Russians Court Kish Tourism Attractions
Kish Island, January 17, 2016 - Deputy Director of Kish Free Zone Organization for Tourism Affairs says Russians are courting the diverse tourism attractions and facilities available in the Persian Gulf Island of Kish.
The Russian party has warmly welcomed the tourism attractions and facilities in Kish Island, Mohammad Moheb Khodaee, told KFZO Public Relations and International Affairs Department.
“Kish Island is the most beautiful coral reef island in the world,” Moheb Khodaee said after a meeting with Oleg Safonov, the head of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, Moheb Khodaee briefed the Russian official on the advantages of travel to Kish for foreign tourists including visa-free entry as well as tax and customs exemptions.
The KFZO official also pointed to the developed tourism infrastructure in Kish, including the increasing number of hotels as well as the expanded international airport.
Moheb Khodaee said Kish has great capacities in regards to health tourism as well as hosting conferences and exhibitions.
He also referred to the academic facilities available in Kish Island and said KFZO welcomes academic cooperation with Russian universities.
