Kish to Host 18th Intl. Confab, Expo on Marine Industries
Kish Island, August 22, 2016- The 18th edition of the international conference on marine industries as well as the technical exhibition featuring the state-of-the-art marine technologies will be held in Kish island later this year.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the international conference and exhibition will be underway from October 18-21.
36 companies from 11 foreign countries have voiced preparedness to take part in the events so far. Also, 45 Iranian companies specializing in marine industries have already announced that they will attend the exhibition to showcase their latest advancements in this regard.
The conference and the exhibition on marine industries are seen as a forum that paves the way for companies to put their products on display and showcase their new research projects.
Marine economy and management, marine oil and gas industries, marine transportation, marine regulations and standards, preservation of the marine environment, coastal facilities, designing and building floating structures, modern marine technologies, renewable marine energies as well as human resources are among the issues to be discussed in the conference.
Researchers, academicians, managers and experts involved in marine industries will present their articles and research plans during the four-day conference slated for October 18.
Also, senior Iranian officials, as well as renowned marine experts, will be among keynote speakers during the conference which will include several expert-level workshops, panels, and committees.
The international exhibition on marine industries will also be held on the sidelines of the conference.
It should be noted that the conference and exhibition on marine industries have been organized by Kish Free Zone organization and Iranian Association of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in collaboration with other national marine organizations, industries, and businesses.
