Kish Island, July 21, 2015- The first edition of international exhibition on optics and optometry will be held in Kish Island later this year.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the four-day event will kick off on November 26th.
A number of major foreign and Iranian companies will take part in the exhibition.
The international exhibition is aimed at transferring state-of-art optometry technology to Iran and attracting foreign investment in the country.
It is also seen as a major step in boosting domestic products and setting up trade ties with regional countries.
Also, an international conference on optic trade is to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
Keynote speakers from Iran and other countries will discuss the opportunities for boosting optics trade.
Furthermore, an expert-level competition has been organized for designing glasses with the aim of encouraging investors and discovering latent talents.
A number of educational seminars will be held in collaboration with a Spanish company as part of efforts to promote the technical knowledge of Iranian opticians and other activists involved in optometry industry.
