According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Managing Director of Kish Free Zone Organization Dr. Ali Asghar Mounesan, along with a number of local officials and also officials from Iran's oil ministry took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition which was held at Kish International Convention Center on Monday.
During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Mounesan described the exhibition as a great opportunity to showcase the latest accomplishments in the areas related to oil, gas, petrochemical, water, electricity and renewable energies.
He also named exchange of expertise among manufacturers of oil and gas equipment and setting up constructive interaction between producers and consumers as the advantages of holding the exhibition.
Given Iran's massive gas and oil reserves, taking part in the exhibition opens up a great opportunity for marketing products and equipment related to energy sector. The participants can have interaction over investment opportunities, Dr. Mounesan reiterated.
Iranian and foreign oil companies have warmly welcomed the 11th edition of the international energy exhibition known as "Kish Enex 2015".
130 Iranian and 70 foreign companies have taken part in the event. Companies from China, Italy, Germany, the US, Britain, South Korea, France, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Holland, Denmark, Canada, Sweden and Albania as well Egypt and UAE are among the firms taking part in the exhibition.
The exhibition kicked off on January 12 and will be underway until January 15.
Iran's Oil Ministry, National Iranian Oil Company, National Iranian Gas Company, National Petrochemical Company, National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company, Society of Iranian Petroleum Industry Equipment Manufacturers (SIPIEM), Supplying Petrochemical Industries Parts Equipment and Chemical Eng Company (SPEC), are among the sponsors of the event.
