Kish Airlines Relaunches Kish-Muscat Flights

Kish Island, December 12, 2021-Acting CEO of Kish Ports and Airports Development and Management Company announced the launch of flights on the Kish-Muscat route and vice versa, which will pave the way for expansion of cooperation with Oman.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, "Relaunching Kish-Muscat flights has been realized as a step towards boosting multilateral economic relations between Iran and Oman, especially in terms of health tourism." Ezatullah Mohammadi, head of Kish Ports and Airports Development and Management Company, said.

Noting that with the relaunch of the Kish-Muscat route, this flight took off for Muscat at 10:30, December 11, 2021, by Kish Airlines, the official said "With the written plan and coordination, we intend to increase the number of international flights at Kish International Airport."

"Kish Airlines operates round-trip flights from Kish to Muscat on Saturdays from December 11; at 10:30 am on the Kish-Muscat route and 5:00 pm on the Muscat-Kish route," he said.

He added: "This flight can significantly contribute to tourism development, especially health tourism and economic activists' presence in Iran and Oman."

It is worth mentioning that Kish Ports and Airports Development and Management Company is one of the affiliated companies to Kish Free Zone Organization.
