KFZO Attends Tourism Expo in Turkey

Kish Island, January25, 2015- Kish Free Zone Organization has taken part in a tourism exhibition in Turkey as part of efforts to introduce the tourist attractions on the Persian Gulf Island.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization 1,100 representatives from 70 countries from across the world are taking part in EMIT 2015.

The 19th edition of East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition kicked off on 22 January.

The three-day event is underway at the Tuyap Fair Convention & Congress Center in Istanbul.

Kish Free Zone Organization along with a number of companies involved in tourism activities on Kish Island, including Kish Air Company, has participated in the international exhibition to showcase the cultural and tourism attractions as well as investment opportunities on the Persian Gulf island.

The exhibition, attended by 70 countries, is seen as a great opportunity for introducing the attractions of the beautiful Island of Kish and boost tourism industry via attracting more investments.

An Iranian calligrapher is present at KFZO stand, writing the names of the visitors in Persian.

Also, KFZO staff have distributed booklets and travel brochures introducing tourist attractions on Kish Island.

Kish is a beautiful resort island located in the Persian Gulf in southern Iran. Due to its free trade zone status it is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and resort hotels.

Kish Island was ranked among the world's 10 most beautiful islands by The New York Times in 2010.

It is seen as a haven for tourists as foreign nationals wishing to enter Kish Free Zone from legal ports are not required to obtain visas prior to travel. Valid travel permits are stamped for 14 days by Kish airport and Kish port police officials.
