Iranian Foreign Ministry Economic Advisors Visit Kish Island

Top economic consultants from the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran have made a visit to Kish to review the tourism and investment capacities of the Persian Gulf Island.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the visit is aimed at introducing the tourism capacities of Kish Island and facilitating investment from the target countries.

The economic advisers from the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran are based in embassies in 15 foreign cities including Beirut, Baku, Basra, Mumbai, Tashkent, Doha, New Delhi, Sulaymaniyah, The Hague, Kandahar, Mexico City, Dubai, Istanbul, Tokyo and New York. During the two-day visit, top KFZO officials including the Head of Economic and Investment Vahid Zare Fekri will meet the economic consultants to discuss the investment capacities and tourist attractions and potentials of Kish Island and their presentation in the target countries.

The Iranian economic consultants, as experts based in the embassies in target countries, can play an effective role in introducing the business potentials in the Kish Free Zone and encouraging foreign economic activists to invest in this region and establishing targeted communication between foreign travel agencies and Kish tourism offices. They can also contribute to more constructive interaction between Kish Island and the target countries in diverse areas including business and tourism.

The economic experts started their visit from the Kish Park 5-star Marina Hotel to get familiar with the tourism and accommodation infrastructure created in this area. The Iranian economic advisers also visited the new passenger terminal of the international airport and the commercial and passenger port of Kish Island.

The delegation also visited several high-tech companies in Kish Industrial town during the first day of their stay in the Persian Gulf Island of Kish.
