Health Town Confab Held in Kish
Kish Island, January 16, 2016 - Officials from Kish Free Zone Organization along with foreign investors have taken part in a conference to discuss the issues related to the expansion of a health town in the Persian Gulf island of Kish.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the health town is scheduled to be constructed in the southern part of Kish Island and is aimed at offering high-quality medical services at low costs in the region.
The construction of the medical town comes as part of KFZO efforts to boost medical tourism in the Persian Gulf Island.
The meeting was held at KFZO conference hall on Wednesday, January 13.
Dr. Ali Jirofti, KFZO Deputy Director for Economic Affairs was among the KFZO officials partaking in the event.
According to the report by KFZO Public Relations and International Affairs Department, under the proposed plan, foreign investors are supposed to facilitate the entry of medical tourists to Kish.
The health town is expected to attract a large number of medical tourists from regional countries given the presence of competent Iranian and European super specialty physicians.
