Kish to Host Harireh International Award Ceremony

Kish Island, November 11, 2019- The National Conference on the Iranian Coastal Offshores Architecture and the Cities of Tomorrow, with the aim of recognizing and restoring Native Architecture of the Southern Offshores of Iran, based on new technologies of the construction industry will be held in Kish Island from 22 to 24 January this year.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Mehdi Rayati the Secretary of the High Council of the Conference said: "With the efforts of Kish Free Zone Organization, the Secretariat of the High Council of Free Trade-Industrial and Economic Zones of Iran, Urban Research Center, Mahsa for the first time ever, Harireh International Architecture Award is to be presented to the participating idea owners, and premium designers and Manufacturers."

The conference also has been set out to develop a comprehensive plan for developing a forward-looking approach to the architecture and construction industry of the southern coast of Iran, with an emphasis on Iranian native and national institutions.

Presentation of climatic solutions in architecture and urban planning, development of indigenous patterns of water guidance and its components as well as exploration of renewable indigenous materials and technologies in new constructions, on the coast of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea are the key topics of the conference.
