Kish Free Zone Organization Welcomes Knowledge-Based Companies

Innovative knowledge-based and high-tech companies are highly welcomed in Kish Free Zone as the Persian Gulf Island of Kish witnesses more investment requests.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization,
“Kish Free Zone Organization gives priority to innovative knowledge-based and technological companies” said Rahim Sarhangi, the CEO of Kish Free Zone Organization. He made the comments during the opening ceremony of Iran’s largest and most equipped heliport which is situated in Kish Island.

the ceremony was attended by top Iranian officials including Manouchehr Manteqi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade.

Kish is now home to a network of airport and aviation services and given its capacities and infrastructure, it can contribute to boosting the airport industry in the country, said the CEO of Kish Free Zone Organization.

Dr. Sarhangi hailed the investment boom in the aviation industry in Kish by the private sector and reiterated that attracting high-tech companies top the agenda of Kish Free Zone Organization.

“Kish Island can serve as a pilot for various fields in the country. In this regard, we welcome investment in areas that cannot be implemented on the mainland,” Dr. Sarhangi noted.

The CEO of Kish Free Zone Organization also pointed to the increase in investment requests in Kish Island and expressed hope for further progress in this regard.

Kish Free Zone Organization has already invested 3 thousand billion tomans (Over $710 million) in airport and aviation sector development, prompting private sector investors to participate in this field.
