KFZO Offers over 100 Investment Packages in Iran Free Zone Expo

Kish Free Zone Organization has drafted 106 economic investment packages offering them in the second edition of the exhibition of investment and export capabilities of Iran’s free and special economic zones.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the exhibition is underway in the northeastern city of Mashhad from July 18 to 22 (3-8 pm, local time). Kish Free Zone Organization has presented its export-oriented capabilities in the four-day exhibition.

The CEO of Kish Free Zone Organization Rahim Sarhangi made the announcement during the opening ceremony of the exhibition in the northeastern city of Mashhad attended by top Iranian officials including, Abdolmaleki, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones and adviser to President Raiesi.

Holding such exhibitions opens up new opportunities for introducing the investment capacities in Iran’s Free Zones, said the KFZO CEO, adding that investors interested in tourism activities can invest in Kish health tourism and start their activities based on Kish Comprehensive Plan.

“Given its geographical and tourism attractions and its available infrastructure and capacities, Kish is a paradise for those interested in investing in health and technology sectors” he noted emphasizing that developing the tourism industry tops the agenda of Kish Free Zone Organization.

 “We seek to turn Kish into the best place for launching business activities in Iran by identifying and lifting obstacles and facilitating investment process in the Persian Gulf Island…” said the CEO of Kish Free Zone Organization.

KFZO has already set up a working group to facilitate the investment process by removing the existent obstacles, Sarhangi concluded.

He also pointed to the capacities of the northeastern city of Mashhad as the gateway for investors from many Central Asian countries and Iran’s eastern neighbours and said Kish and Mashhad can roll out international joint venture activities aimed at boosting export services.
