According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, The Iranian Iron and Steel Association's 23rd steel industry conference kicked off on December 14, at 9:00 AM at Kish International Conference Center.
According to this report, the 23rd International Steel Exhibition and Symposium is being held on Kish with 250 domestic companies and 25 foreign companies from Germany, Italy, Turkey, China, Sweden, Spain, and Greece. The latest industrial and research achievements in various software and hardware fields used in steel and related industries will be presented in 210 booths at the International Exhibition of Steel Symposium.
The event is aimed at creating a favorable environment for communication between Iranian steel industry stakeholders, professors, students, and researchers to exchange views and solve existing problems and further develop this industry by consulting and getting acquainted with the latest research, technology, and equipment achievements of the country's steel industry.
This year's steel symposium is being held on "Challenges and solutions of the steel industry in the Post-COVID-19 Era."
It should be noted that "the future of the steel industry, the challenges and opportunities facing it and the steel market outlook and challenges in the supply of raw materials, equipment and technical knowledge in the steel industry in the post-corona era, new findings in increasing productivity, reduction of water and energy consumption in the steel industry, the status of human resources in the steel industry in the post-corona era, new findings in the production and use of latest generation steels, the role of rail, road, pier, and port facilities on development of sustainable steel industry, expansion of downstream and upstream sectors in the sustainable development of steel industry, modeling and simulation of steel production line processes, new findings in the fields of extraction, ironmaking, smelting, and casting, forming, improving properties are the themes to be raised during the event.
It is worth mentioning that the 23rd Steel Symposium and the International Steel Exhibition kicked off on December 14 and will be underway at Kish International Exhibition Center until December 16.
