According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Gholam Hossein Mozaffari in a message to the Afghan Ambassador to Iran Ghafoor Lewal on Wednesday, felicitated Afghanistan on its national day, which is celebrated on August 19.

Mozaffari also wished him good health, well-being, and success, and continued prosperity for Afghan people.

The Independence Day is celebrated in Afghanistan on August 19 to commemorate the Anglo-Afghan Treaty of 1919, an agreement between Afghanistan and Britain, signed in Rawalpindi.
