Major Economic Exhibitions Underway in Kish
Kish Island, November 02, 2016-The third edition of the international exhibition on stock exchange, banking, insurance and privatization as well as the 8th edition of the exhibition on Iran's investment opportunities have kicked off in Kish Island.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, KFZO Managing Director, Dr. Ali Asghar Mounesan, Iran's Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Mir Ali Ashraf, the Head of Iran's Privatization Organization, Peyman Qorbani, Deputy Director of Central Bank of Iran, Shapoor Mohammadi, Head of the Organization of Tehran Stock Exchange along with a number of economic experts took part in the opening ceremony of the events on Monday.
160 Iranian companies and 20 foreign companies have taken part in the exhibitions which are aimed at promoting economic ties and introducing Iran's banking potentials and investment opportunities.
Representatives from Italy, India, Switzerland, Turkey, France, UAE, Georgia, Germany, Malaysia and Britain have participated in the exhibitions.
The events also include several expert-level discussion panels on diverse issues including investment opportunities, modern financing methods, privatization, tourism, banking, insurance, energy, and capital market.
A plethora of banks, insurance companies, financing institutions, municipalities and affiliated companies, leasing and credit companies, companies operating in Tehran Stock Exchange, along with a large number of other companies and organizations involved in financial and investment sector have taken part in the exhibitions.
The exhibitions are held with the aim of preparing the ground for the active presence of Iranian and foreign entrepreneurs and in the country's economic and development projects to boost economic ties between Iranian and foreign companies and institutions.
