Kish Sprinter Wins Bronze Medal at Intl. Race in Turkey
Kish Island, June 19, 2016-Ali Khadivar, one of the members of Iran’s Track and Field team, has managed to snatch a bronze medal at an international running contest held in Turkey.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Ali Khadivar ran the 200 meters in 21.2 seconds, winning a bronze medal.
The Iranian team snatched 6 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals in total.
Ali Khadivar is training to win a berth on Iran’s Track and Field team for the Rio Olympics to be held later in the summer.
