Kish Island, May 30, 2016-Ali Khadivar, a sprinter from Kish island has managed to win two gold medals at a nationwide running contest.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the race was held at Enqelab Sports Complex in Tehran.
The event was held as part of efforts to prepare the Iranian national team which is expected to take part in international running competitions in Turkey and Kazakhstan. It included the 100, 200, 400, and 800 meters sprinting events.
Ali Khadivar ran the 100 and 200 meters in 10.84 and 21.12 seconds respectively.
It should be noted that Khadivar had already won the gold medal in indoor 60 meters sprint in the nationwide running competitions back in January.
