KFZO Working with German Advisers to Expand Hendurabi Island
Kish Island, April 18, 2016 - Managing Director of Kish Free Zone Organization says KFZO is working with German advisers to develop the Persian Gulf island of Hendurabi.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Dr. Ali Asghar Mounesan said KFZO has already started developing the infrastructure of Hendurabi island.
“We have already started the establishment of electricity network, harbor, desalination facility, as well as green space in Hedurabi Island,” said Mounesan.
Kish Free Zone Organization has devised a comprehensive development plan for Hendurabi.
Hendurabi is an Iranian island located in the Persian Gulf, west of Kish island.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Mounesan also pointed to projects carried out by KFZO to develop the infrastructure of Kish Island including equipping Kish Hospital with state-of-art medical technology.
Mounesan’s comments come against the backdrop of a recent visit by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Kish Island during the New Persian Year (starting on March 21).
During his stay in Kish, Rouhani visited the different parts of the island and hailed the development activities carried out in the Persian Gulf Island.
