According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization representatives from 55 countries took part in the exhibition titled “TT WARSAW 2014” 27-29 November 2014.
Polish Tourism minister opened the exhibition which is underway in the capital Warsaw.
KFZO Managing Director Ali Ashar Mounesan and his senior advisor held talks with Poland’s deputy tourism minister to discuss expansion of tourism industry and related ties between Iran and Poland.
Meanwhile, Kish Free Zone Organization held a special ceremony dubbed “Kish Night” on the sidelines of the exhibition with the aim of boosting tourism industry and promoting interaction between Iranian tourism activists and investors with their counterparts from around the world. Ramin Memhmanparast, Iran’s ambassador to Warsaw, along with senior KFZO officials and representatives from European countries also took part in the event.
Officials from Kish Free Zone Organization attended the exhibition to introduce the attractions and tourism capacities of Kish Island to turn it as a new destination for Polish and other foreign tourists.
Kish is a beautiful resort island located in the Persian Gulf in southern Iran. Due to its free trade zone status it is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and resort hotels.
Kish Island was ranked among the world’s 10 most beautiful islands by The New York Times in 2010.
It is seen as a haven for tourists as foreign nationals wishing to enter Kish Free Zone from legal ports are not required to obtain visas prior to travel. Valid travel permits are stamped for 14 days by Kish airport and Kish port police officials.
