According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Kaffashian described attending the third edition of Asia Pacific Deaf Football Championships and visiting the sports facilities of this free zone as the purposes of traveling to the Persian Gulf Island, and praised Kish sports Infrastructure, at a meeting with the KFZO Director.
"KFZO authorities' attention to the development of sporting activities, along with very good infrastructure of the island, facilitates our interaction with Kish Free Zone Organization." He continued.
He also pointed to Football Federation plans to hold the Asian Beach Games on Kish Island and noted that some national team preparatory camps have been scheduled to hold on Kish Island this winter.
The third edition of Asia Pacific Deaf Football Championships opened in Kish on November 17 and will wrap up on November 30.
The tournament has brought together hearing impaired soccer players from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.
