Fresh Round of Investment Talks at Kish Intl. Energy Expo
Kish Island, October 28, 2015- The first edition of an international exhibition on investment activities in Iran's energy sector is to be held in the Persian Gulf island of Kish in January 2016.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the event which will be mounted during the post-sanctions era in Iran is of special significance given the new investment opportunities which have opened up in the country.
The exhibition, which will kick off on January 16th, will feature the latest investment opportunities and capacities in Iran's energy sector including oil, gas, electricity, water, renewable energies as well the petrochemical industry.
This will be the first exhibition to be held following the introduction of Iran's new oil contracts which are aimed at attracting foreign investment in the country's energy sector.
Companies from Italy, China, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Scotland, Finland, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, France, the UK, Germany and Canada are expected to take part in Kish International Energy Exhibition.
Iran's Petroleum Ministry, National Iranian Oil Company, National Iranian Gas Company, National Iranian Petrochemical Company, as well as the Association of Manufacturers of Iran's Oil Industry, Syndicate of Iran's Electricity Industries, and Supplying Petrochemical Industries Part Equipment and Chemical Engineering Company are the sponsors of the exhibition.
200 companies from across the world took part in the 11th edition of Kish International Energy Exhibition last year.
The 12th edition of the exhibition will be held at Kish Convention Center on January 16th-19th, 2016.
