Iran’s Economy ready for Major Leap Forward
Kish Island, September14, 2015- Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Ali Tayebnia says the country is ready to take a great leap forward during the post-sanctions era.
“After the removal of the sanctions, the country is ready to take a big leap forward so that Iran will witness the highest economic growth rate in the region,” he said.
Speaking at the international iron and steel conference, Tayebnia reiterated that Iran’s economy will see considerable growth in foreseeable future as soon as the sanctions against the country are lifted.
The Iranian minister also pointed to Iran’s gas and oil reserves and said the country has many untapped potentials to attract foreign investors.
He described high level of mineral reserves, young efficient human resource as well as growing competitive market and strategic location as the unique characteristics of Iran.
Tayebnia also said Iran is the most secure country in the region.
He said the Iranian government is ready to take necessary action to pave the way for boosting the activities of foreign and domestic investors in the country.
