Iran Set to Optimize Aviation Industry in Post Sanctions Era
Kish Island, September 2, 2015- Head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) says utilizing the potentials of Kish aviation industry will ultimately accelerate the economic development of the country in the post sanctions era.
"The ground has been prepared for developing the country's aviation industry during the post sanctions era and we seek to take the best advantage of human resource potentials to standardize aviation services as well as tourism in Iran," said Ali Abedzadeh.
He described increasing the safety of passengers and setting up a competitive environment in which Iranian airlines vie for giving better services to the customers as the top priorities of Iranian Civil Aviation Organization.
"We will take steps in the path of boosting safety, facilitating and standardizing aviation regulations and our activities will be focused on developing airport infrastructure," he reiterated.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Ali Abedzadeh made the comments on the sideline of a conference on aviation data management in Kish island.
Representatives from International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) regional bureau have gathered in Kish Island to attend the expert-level conference on aviation management.
Aviation officials from different regional and ultra-regional countries including Kuwait, Libya, Lebanon, Sudan, Oman, Egypt, and UAE have participated in the conference.
The conference kicked off on August 29th and will be wrapped up on September 2nd.
