According to a report by the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Kish Free Zone Organization, this visit follows the signing of an agreement for establishing direct flights between Dushanbe and Kish, attended by the Ambassador of Tajikistan and Mohammad Kabiri, the Chairman and CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization. This initiative is a significant step towards promoting the unique tourism attractions of Kish Island to the people of Tajikistan and enhancing media cooperation between the two nations.
The report states that the Tajik journalists arrived in Kish on January 5th with the aim of creating engaging and visually appealing reports about the island's tourism attractions. They plan to visit luxury hotels, marine recreational centers, and other tourist sites in Kish.
The journalists from Tajikistan expressed their delight at the cultural and historical closeness between the two nations and the common language, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in developing bilateral relations. They described the establishment of direct flights between Dushanbe and Kish as a crucial and effective step in boosting tourism relations between the two countries. They also invited the Iranian people, particularly the residents of Kish, to explore the diverse tourism attractions of Tajikistan, including its historical and cultural cities.
Furthermore, the Tajik journalists stressed the significance of hosting various cultural and tourism events in both countries, viewing this visit as the beginning of a new phase of joint collaboration in this field.
Matien Mohiuddin, an experienced and well-known TV host and journalist from Tajikistan and a member of the group, stated, "We are very pleased with our visit to Kish and have become familiar with the beautiful tourism attractions of this island. We intend to share our images and reports in Tajik media to encourage our people to travel to Iran, especially to Kish."
Ali Hasnlou, the acting Deputy Director of Tourism for the Kish Free Zone Organization, also commented, "We are pursuing the expansion of tourism relations with neighboring countries, particularly Tajikistan. The establishment of direct flights between Dushanbe and Kish has been a significant step in this direction, and we hope through mutual cooperation to witness the continuous growth of tourism between the two countries."
It is expected that following this significant event, there will be an increase in the number of Tajik tourists visiting Kish and Iranian tourists traveling to Tajikistan.
