According to the Public Relations and Int’l Affairs of KFZO, the inauguration ceremony of the 78th edition of the World Men’s Fitness & Bodybuilding Championships will be held with the presence of athletes from 70 countries of the world, Tuesday evening on the Island of Kish, during the inauguration ceremony of this int’l event, Rahim Sarhangi, Managing Director of KFZO said holding this Championships is of prime importance and I would like to thank the Int’l Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) and Iran’s president of Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation and all the members for their efforts and holding this int’l event.
Sarhangi referring to Kish infrastructures and its God given blessings, named Kish as one of the prime tourist destinations of the region and added that one of the most unique priorities of the Island is high air oxygen level, therefore Kish Island is a suitable place for holding international sport, scientific, educational, tourist, and cultural events.
Meanwhile Mehdi Nasirzadeh president of Iranian bodybuilding & fitness federation during the ceremony while referring the hardness in hosting the championships, thanked all the world family members and expressed his gratitude to IFBB president that because of all the existing problems, he respected Iran’s culture and chose Kish Island to host the championships.
The IFBB president appreciated Rahim Sarhangi, Managing Director of KFZO for all his great efforts and convert this impossible event to happen.
Also, Rafael Santonja, IFBB president, during the inauguration ceremony of this int’l event stated: I’m happy that we are all here in Iran and see that Iran loves sport.
He continued we all came here to express our common word “Sport” to develop out empathy.
He declared that here are those who have visited Iran for the first time and let them see the world’s best athletes and notice Iran’s history. For sure, happiness and joy impact all the tourists and promote the Island’s attractions.
The IFBB president emphasized that we are honored and happy to be here in Kish and appreciate the Iranian hospitality.
We recommend the people of the world to visit Kish Island and enjoy its beauties and for this reason, we hold the 78th edition of the championships in Kish.
It worth mentioning that the 78th IFBB World Men’s Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships held in Kish from 23rd to 27th of September 2024.
