According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the exhibition, which opened on Monday, September 5, at Kish International Convention Center, is comprised of 108 stalls and is attended by 60 groups from different Iranian provinces active in the fields of handicrafts, publications, domestic and foreign tourism agencies, start-ups, hotels, universities, and private museums.
The exhibition presents all fields of the Iranian land’s culture, including costumes, handicrafts, traditional arts, music, visual arts, books and publications, tourism, and food attractions from across the country.
The event, which will run until September 8, has been designed to introduce tourism opportunities and strengthen cultural bonds among regional countries. Traditional and local clothes, wooden and leather handicrafts, hand-woven carpets, and rugs are exhibited at the expo, while traditional and local Iranian music is performed.
Some ambassadors and diplomats of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Pakistan, and Japan visited the expo and got acquainted with Iranian culture and art.
The first round of the International Cultural Tourism Expo is hosting people, artists, and tourists for four days, from September 5 to 8, 2022, in Kish Permanent Exhibition Center.
