First Cruise Restaurant Ship to Dock in Kish Port

Kish Island, December 6, 2022- The Royaye Darya ship is ready to sail in the Persian Gulf waters to boost marine tourism on Kish island and create an authentic dining experience on board.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization,   the Royaye Darya restaurant cruise ship, dubbed as “Dream of the Sea,” was purchased by the private sector and foreign capital from Japan by Captain Behrouz Jafari and Captain Habibollah Raofi at the cost of over 5000 billion IRR, and after changing the flag, it is ready to provide recreational services with the Iranian flag in the coastal waters of Kish Island.

Stating that the six-story ship, with an area of 6,000 square meters which is 65 meters long and 14 meters wide with five halls and with a capacity of 700 tourists and 70 crew members, is following International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards, Captain Behrouz Jafari, the owner of this ship, added: The speed of the vessel is 11 knots, it has been built in six floors and has six decks, 8 CIP rooms, a store and equipped with two internal coffee shops and a roof garden, also equipped with a world-class kitchen with an area of 500 meters to serve a variety of Iranian, international and fast food dishes. It is equipped with all confectionery accessories, a conference hall, a wedding hall, and separate birthday party halls with different capacities and a full view of the sea.

Jafari pointed out that the Roya Darya ship has advanced sound systems and three old pianos and continued: “For the well-being of tourists, seven 65-ton cooling systems have been installed in this vessel.”

He stated that this ship has all the rescue tools at sea and up-to-date equipment approved by the Ports and Maritime Organization. He emphasized: “In addition to settling in the coastal waters of Kish Island and creating a dreamy time for tourists, the ship can also travel to other coasts of Hormozgan province and neighboring provinces and the Persian Gulf countries.”

It is worth mentioning that the number of investors investing in Kish marine tourism has increased significantly, so during the last week, in addition to this ship, the large recreational-passenger vessel named Karina has also been put into operation.
