7 Expert-Level Panels to Be Held during Post-Sanctions Era Cofab.
Kish Island, November 9, 2015- Seven expert-level panels will be held during Post-Sanctions Era Conference which is expected to kick off in Kish island on Tuesday, November 10th.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the panels will be held on the sidelines of the conference.
During the first day of the conference, the challenges facing Iran’s economy in post-sanctions era will be discussed. The opening speech of the conference will deal with the general economic situation in Iran. Later during the day, three panels of discussion will be held. Ways of attracting foreign investment in Iran, removing the legal and political challenges during post-sanctions era, connecting Iran’s stock exchange market to the global markets and interactive financial strategies in post-sanctions era, reviewing ways of promoting trade, boosting incentives and removing obstacles facing investment in free trade zones and the differences between financing tools and investment in Iran and the international standards are among the issues to be discussed in the expert-level panels.
Four separate expert-level panels will also be held on Wednesday, November 11. Reviewing procedures of creating modern financial poles, reviewing the trend of domestic and international trade in Iran during the post sanctions era, tax and customs regulations, capacities and incentives in free trade zones, the role of venture capital investment funds in expanding economy during post sanctions era are among the issues to be discussed during the conference. The closing speech of the event will be on International Joint Venture during the post-sanctions era.
It should be noted that the panels will comprise senior Iranian officials including presidential advisors, deputy ministers, as well as a number of prominent Iranian and foreign economists and legal experts.
The Conference on Iran's Economy during Post Sanctions Era as well as the second edition of the international exhibition on Banking, Stock Exchange, Insurance and Privatizing in Kish island, and the 7th edition of exhibition on Investment Opportunities in Iran are the three major economic events to be held in Kish this month.
According to a report by KFZO, 185 Iranian companies and 15 foreign firms from Switzerland, Holland, Britain, Germany, France, UAE, China and Canada will partake in the exhibitions. Top executive managers and representatives from 40 foreign companies are also slated to take part in the event.
The events will be held at Kish Convention Center. Senior Iranian officials along with Iranian and foreign investors are expected to take part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition which will be held at Kish Convention Center on Monday November 9.
