Photo Exhibition of, The Balkans- a Shared Heritage, Opens in Kish

Kish Island, September 5, 2018-The photo exhibition of ‘The Balkans – a shared heritage’ by a Bulgarian photographer was opened in Kish Island.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of Kish Free Zone Organization, the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition ‘The Balkans – a shared heritage’ by the Bulgarian photographer, Ivo Hadjimishev, was officially held on Tuesday September 4, with the presence of Dr. Ansari Lari the CEO of Kish Free Organization and Christo Polendakov, the Bulgarian ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The inauguration occurred in the presence deputies, directors, local authorities of Kish Free Zone Organization, as well as Kish Island artists and photographers.

The exhibition which includes 52 images of historical monuments, archaeological sites, sacred places, religious objects, cultural heritage sites and artifacts from eleven Balkan countries offers an insight into the diversity of the cultural heritage of the Balkans, brilliantly captured by the renowned Bulgarian photographer, Ivo Hadjimishev.

The photo exhibition will be on display at Kish International Conference Center until September 11, from 9:30 to 12:00 and 18:00 to 22:00.

Kish Island is a 92 square-kilometer resort island in the Persian Gulf, standing at a distance of 18 kilometers from mainland Iran, with an estimated population of 37,000 residents.
