Kish Island Ready to Host FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour
Kish Island, January 16, 2016 - Kish island is preparing to host the men’s only FIVB Kish Island Open, to be held February 15-19.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the men’s only FIVB Kish Island Open will be held on Kish island15 to 19 February this year, with over 30 foreign countries in attendance. Kish volleyball courts are being equipped to meet the highest international standards and provide the best facilities for the players.
International Volleyball Federation, commonly known by the acronym FIVB, is the international governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball, The FIVB's main activity is worldwide planning and organization of volleyball events.
It will mark the first time an FIVB World Tour event will have been held in Iran.
