Kish International Airport has Ranked 127 Flights in a Day
Kish Island, March 28, 2017 – on Friday, 24th of March, Kish International Airport has ranked 127 flights in a day which is considered as the busiest during first half of Norooz vacations.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, during first half of Norooz vacations on Friday, 24th of March, 127 flights were launched from and into airports across Iran, Kish International Airport had the biggest share of air travels in the country which was highest number during the first half compared with last year's holiday.
Today, Monday 27th of March, latest figures by Kish Airlines also show that 126 flights were carried out at Kish airport.
Also, the number of passengers flying from and into the airport reached 137,513 people, 27% up compared to the same period last year, whereas the number of flights carried out at Kish International Airport has witnessed a 18% rise.
