Iran's Disney Land to Be Set UP in Kish
Kish Island, April 30, 2016- Kish Free Zone Organization plans to set up "Lucky Island" recreational complex in Kish, which will be the Iranian version of Disney Land.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, KFZO deputy director for tourism affairs said the project got underway nearly 18 months ago.
"The project is a replica of Disney Land but it will feature indigenous capacities and culture," said Mohammad Moheb Khodae, emphasizing that such projects should be in line with the Iranian culture.
The KFZO official said the project comes as part of efforts to promote tourism in Kish island and turn it into Iran's top tourism destination in the Persian Gulf for the families.
Moheb Khodae also described Kish island as "a paradise for families" and said KFZO plans to create a joyful environment for Iranian families in Kish so that they "enjoy happiness in the real sense of the word."
