Kish Foodex 2016 to Kick Off in Late September
Kish Island, September 14, 2016-The first edition of Kish Foodex, an international exhibition featuring food industry and related industries, will be held in Kish island on September 28.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the exhibition will showcase the food products produced by top domestic and foreign producers.
Over 50 companies from Iran and other countries including Italy, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Turkey, Malaysia, the Netherlands, India, UAE, Poland, Japan, France, Oman, Austria, and Belgium will display their latest achievements in the food industry.
The international exhibition will be underway until October 1.
The exhibition is aimed at introducing top health food producers and encouraging major global brands to invest in Iran’s food market.
Several expert-level meetings will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition at Kish International Convention Center.
The coffee contest is among other lateral programs to be held on the sidelines of Kish Foodex 2016.
Given its developed infrastructure, Kish, a 92-square kilometer island in the Persian Gulf, is seen as an ideal place for holding exhibitions and conferences.
The Persian Gulf Island hosts numerous exhibitions and conferences annually.
