American Tourist Undergoes Surgery in Kish Hospital

Kish Island, December 27, 2017- In line with the development of health tourism, an American tourist has undergone a cosmetic surgery in Kish Specialty and Subspecialty Hospital.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization," On Friday morning, December 22, a 25-year-old American female patient had a rhinoplasty at Kish Hospital" said Dr. Mehran Roshan, the technical  director of Kish hospital," the patient was discharged from the hospital 24 hours after the surgery and will return to her country after  recovery" he added.

"In line with the goals of developing health tourism, over the course of the past three years, Kish hospital has been working to enter the innovative and profitable global industry by maintaining the standards of the Ministry of Health.", the technical director of Kish Hospital said.

He also said that since the beginning of the current Persian year, six tourists from the UK, the United States, Poland, and some Eastern European countries have come to the hospital for cosmetic surgeries and other healthcare services.

Dr. Roshan reiterated that over the past three years, Kish Hospital has provided over 120 foreign patients with cosmetic surgeries and other medical treatments.

The Persian Gulf island of Kish has made progress in medical tourism by offering visa-free medical services and possessing well-equipped medical centers and proper accommodations.
