Int’l Maritime Industries Exhibition Kicks off in Kish

Kish Island, December 17, 2018- The International Maritime Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran kicked off in Kish Island with the presence of over 250 domestic and foreign participants.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the International Maritime Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRANIMEX2018) kicked off on Monday December 17, at Kish International Exhibition Center with over 240 domestic and 15 foreign companies in attendance.

Several high-ranking officials including Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, Marine Industries Organization's Managing Director Rear Admiral Amir Rastegari, the Managing Director of Kish Free Zone Organization Dr. Gholam Hossein Mozaffari, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Organization Mohammad Rastad, the Representative of Hormozgan Province in the Parliament Hashemi Takhti, the Deputy for Marine Environment of the Department of Environment Dr. Parvin Farshchi, and some Iranian Parliament Representatives took part in the opening ceremony.

This event showcases deck, safety and special equipment, electronics, communications and navigation, dredging equipment, propulsion and maneuvering, shipbuilding and offshore, repair and conversion, port development, maritime and offshore services, offshore technology, fisheries, marine tourism, and marine environment.

The international exhibition will be wrapped up on Wednesday, December 19.
