According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, in a ceremony which was widely welcomed by residents and officials, Dr. Gholam Hossein Mozaffari was appointed as the new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kish Free Zone Organization as a successor to Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Ansari Lari.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Morteza Bank, the President's Advisor and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Iran's Free Trade Zones, Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Ansari, the former CEO of Kish Free Zone Organization, Dr. Fereydoun Hemati, the Governor of Hormozgan Province, Nasser Sharifi, the Representative of Kish, Lengeh, Bastak and Parsian in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Hojatoleslam Hassanzadeh, Kish Friday prayer Imam, Dr. Davood Karami, the Special Advisor to the Minister of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare, and a member of the Board of Directors of Kish Free Zone Organization, Sheikh Ya'qub Shams, Kish Sunni Friday prayer Imam, Members of Kish City Council, some Members of Parliament and government officials, a group of military and security authorities and staff, heads of departments and institutions and economic activists as well as the residents of Kish Island.

The ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 4, at Persian Gulf Hall of Kish International Convention Center.
