KFZO Deputy, Omani Delegation Meet

Kish Island, October 7, 2018- Kish Free Zone Organization’s Deputy Director for Economic and Investment Affairs, Mohammadreza Saeedi, has held a meeting with an Omani delegation on the expansion of tourism, economic ties.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, the meeting was held in Kish Island following the successful participation of Kish Free Zone Organization in the 8th edition of Oman Health Exhibition as well as the high economic, tourism and therapeutic capacities of Kish Island.

During the meeting, Saeedi pointed to the tourist, cultural and historical attractions of Kish Island and discussed the economic capacities of the Persian Gulf Island.

KFZO deputy stated that Kish Island is looking for a new and innovative look at the economic and tourism sectors and said:" Hotel industry, expanding aviation and maritime transport infrastructures, development of high-value and low volume industries, expansion of digital-based businesses, and foreign currency based international exchange activities are among the fields for developing bilateral collaboration."

Meanwhile, the members of the Omani delegation also announced their readiness to cooperate fully with Kish Island and referred to Kish Island as a beautiful region with high potentials for investment.

At the end of the meeting, the Omani delegation announced readiness to participate in Kish Invex 2018, which will be held from October 22 to 25.
