Kourosh Hotel Opens in Kish Island

Kish Island, May 19, 2018-Kourosh Hotel has been opened in Kish Island in the presence of Iranian president’s senior advisor and the secretary of the Supreme Council of Iran’s Free Zones.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization, Iranian president’s senior advisor and the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Iran’s Free Zones, Morteza Bank, as well as the Managing Director of Kish Free Zone Organization, Dr. Ansari Lari, attended the opening ceremony of Kourosh five-star hotel on Wednesday May 16 .

In the opening ceremony of this project, Morteza Bank referred to the need to establish tourist complexes in the tourist areas and said: "Kish Island can focus its activities on the development of international tourism, as there are excellent capacities in this area on the island of Kish".

The Secretaryof the Supreme Council of Iran’s Free Zones added: "Due to the good conditions of Kish, creating tourist complexes which influence the tourist's length of stay positively, can be considered as one of the approaches to tourism development in Kish Island."

Built at a cost of over 200 billion Tomans, in 18 floors the 200-room hotel has helped create up to 170 jobs.

It is worth mentioning that with the inauguration of this hotel, the number of hotels in the island of Kish has reached about 50, and the hotel bed capacity in Kish has expanded to over12 thousand beds.
