150 Iranian, Foreign Companies Attend Maritime Exhibition in Kish

Kish Island, December21, 2015- 150 Iranian and foreign companies are to take part in the 7th edition of international exhibition on Iran’s maritime industries which will kick off in Kish Island on Tuesday.


According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Kish Free Zone Organization 110 Iranian companies along with 40 foreign companies will take part in the two-day event.

The event is expected to showcase the latest accomplishments made by Iranian companies. It is also seen as a podium to introduce investment opportunities in Iran’s maritime sector.

Also, the 17th conference on maritime industries will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.

the exhibition will be underway at Kish Convention Center from December 22-25.

The 7th international exhibition of Iran's maritime industries showcases different maritime industries and services including ship building, developing ports, oil rigs, producing navigation equipment, telecommunications, as well as coastal and offshore equipment.

The 17th international conference on maritime industries, which is held on the sidelines of the exhibition, is one of the significant features of the event.

The conference, which has been organized by Iran's Maritime Engineering Association, will be attended by a large number of Iranian engineers and experts, and high-ranking officials from the related ministries and organizations.

12 workshops and 8 expert-level panels will be held as part of the conference, during which 38 selected papers will be presented.
